This position can be based from either Wolfsburg or Duisburg.

 About the Role

The Programme Manager is responsible of providing a safe, on schedule and on budget maintenance projects in transactional and long-term service programmes within Germany, following Corporate Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures:

  • The PM role includes overall site management functions and responsibility for site-based work in all concerned power plants.
  • As the Customers’ point of contact within Mitsubishi Power, the PM will manage all internal stakeholders across numerous departments to achieve the aims of the concerned contracts and satisfy the Customer’s requirements.
  • The PM position will be closely working with the Senior Programme Manager of the Netherlands and Germany, as well as with the Senior Operations Director.

 

What will you do in the role?

  • Be the main point of contact point of Mitsubishi Power in front of Customer and ambassador of Customer within Mitsubishi Power group.
  • Have overall responsibility of all aspects of onsite operation and outage management, attending to the division of responsibilities on each project.
  • Handle day-to-day Customer interaction plus day-to-day commercial and technical issues of the assigned projects.
  • Correspond at all levels with internal and external departments to manage all project related issues.
  • Support both functional and regional organizations by proposing enhancement on current processes and developing internal resources.
  • Manage new projects as required.

 

What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have? 

  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication skills, willingness to learn and ownership
  • Experience in O&M (Operation & Maintenance) or service in power generation industry (mandatory)
  • Experience in control systems (DCS – distributed control system / TCS – turbine control system)
  • Experience in Project Management
  • University degree in Engineering (mandatory), relation to power generation is a plus
  • Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work (mandatory)
